You got a barrel that works for you and your ammunition. As I said, better parts make the potential for better accuracy.

What do you mean “got a barrel that works for you”
Do I just magically shoot better with a Kidd barrel?

Also that Kidd barrel shot better with every ammo I tried.

How many times must a person say your equipment doesn’t make you a better shooter? BUT can limit you.

Every manufacturer has barrels that don’t perform. Obviously you are unaware of this.

Glad your setup works for you.

I have the carbon fibre barreled BXR and my experience mirrors yours, add the trigger of your choice and done great package.

I agree the equipment doesn’t make you a better shooter, it only limits you.
Unfortunately the equipment is often the limit and the shooter is blamed.
I’ll go out on a limb and say this is especially common with 22lr. This is why getting a factory 10/22 for target practice is like beating your head against a wall and blaming yourself for the fact that it hurts.

My setup doesn’t work for me, it just works period.

Factory 10/22’s (carbines) pattern like a shotgun.

Yes, then ammunition.

I have thousands of rounds in some ammunition in three different lots. Depending on temp and rifle each lot excels.

You have the ability to out shoot your equipment and ammunition in rimfire.

I also want to add that beating jerry from mystic precision is not cool. He is an accomplished marksman that runs a reputable business. While I don’t always see eye to eye with him he does provide good products and, if you can pry it out, good advice.

For the most accurate shooting, the ammo and barrel have to be in tune with each other. With centrefire, you tweak your powder charge fractions of a grain until you find a node with the smallest groups. With rimfire all you can do it try different brands and lots hoping to find something in sync with your barrel's sweet spot. And there's always the chance you have a great barrel but nothing available to you on the market is quite the right ammo for it, while the next barrel has a sweet spot closer to the ammo manufacturer offerings.
