Ruger 10/22 conversion

Well I've been thinking of a new project, and have found a conversion stock by Evolution, AR collapsing stock, and a rail system.

What if any are the legal implications of doing this conversion with a standard 20" barrel?

What is a good match type barrel to use for this conversion?

What about all the "bells and whistles" ie, mag releases, bolt handle extensions, up graded triggers?

And last, but not least, any input from fellow gunnuter's would be appreciated who may have attempted this in the past.

That would be fine, it's when you dip below the 26" mark that you get into trouble. I'd go for a 18" "heavy" carbon fiber barrel on that.

BTW... don't those things cost 1.5 kidneys?

The stock is about $199 US and then you can add on different accessories.
