Ruger 10/22 - deluxe?

Hey guys...I have a line on a 10/22 that is basically new. It comes with 2 rotary mags, and it is blued with a wood stock. The wood is very nice, and there is no barrel band on this model. I ran the serial number through rugers website and it says it was made in 1991-1992. Am I correct that this is a Deluxe model (due to the lack of a barrel band)? There is a larger rubber recoil pad on this gun compared to my last 10/22, but no scope base. It really looks just like new, and I think it would be a good unit for a project gun. What do you guys think?

It sounds like the one my buddy has, which is the deluxe model. If it is a deluxe model, it should have a walnut stock on it. If you want to put a larger barrel on it and ream out the barrel channel, this is one of the best models for you.
