Ruger 10/22 factory barrel lengths

Good Day All,

Just been having a debate with a friend about Ruger factory barrel lengths on a 10/22. I have only seen 16", 18" & 20" factory barrels but my buddy says he has seen smaller factory barrels (apparently had all the factory stamps, warnings etc) on rifles being used for varmint control. To the best of anyone's knowledge does or did ruger ever make any shorter barrels, I'm thinking it might have been an after market barrel but he insists it wasn't

The Ruger Charger pistol (using 22LR 10/22 action) has a shorter barrel. I wanna say 10 or 12 inches ?

Yup...stock Ruger Charger barrel is 10"

If you want to get technical, it's actually a pistol barrel not a rifle barrel, but will work on a rifle.
