lately i have had issues with my 10/22 firing rounds, i always had problems with the cheaper ammo so i started buying high velocity ammo, until recently i wasn't having any problems but now around 1/10 rounds has been not firing, the primers have dings but the cartridge doesn't fire sometimes if i reload it they will fire the second time. I don't know if this is a problem with the gun maybe the firing pin isn't hitting the primer hard enough or if anyone else has had problems with this ammo i was using winchester super X hollow points and remington thunderbolt's. I have also gave the gun a thorough cleaning and i still have the problem. Any advice will help thanks.

Did you take time and clean out the fireing pin realy well. They are verry long and there is lots of surface area for crud to slow it down enough not to strike the rim hard enough.
