Ruger 10/22-FS

Does anyone know if the Ruger 10/22-FS is available in Canada yet? The rifle with a tactical rail, a threaded barrel and Ruger's Mini-14 Flash supressor. Ruger lists it for $316 US. I would like to get this rifle without having to break the bank. Any info on it would be helpful.
 
Oh I'm not talking about the SR-22. I plan on putting a tapco stock on it so there is no point in spending extra for the "tacticool" SR-22 stock.

According to Ruger the 10/22-FS is..
Tactical Model 1261, Black Synthetic (non collapsible), 16.22" barrel length, 36.25" Overall length, 13.5" length of pull, 4.30 lbs, Tactical sight rail, threaded barrel and flash suppressor suggested retail $316.

Doesn't really look any different than the standard other than the lack of sights and the flash hider. That rail is standard, why not get the basic one? You could cut the barrel to length and thread it yourself.
 
Mostly because it's already done for me and I don't have to do the leg work myself? If the price is right of course. I know all prices take a hit when it comes up here. But at $316 I'm hoping the price won't increase too much.
 
A flash hider and top rail is the minimum to be labelled tactical these days. Interesting. More like tactical marketing.
 
Quite certain this rifle is not available in Canada.. That flash suppressor probably keeps it out, unless they sell a canada version without it - just buy the regular carbine synthetic
 
I don't understand why a flash supressor would keep it out of the country. I mean just about every tactical 22 has a flash supressor why would ruger be kept out?
