Ruger 10/22 Help

Hi I was wondering if you guys could help me out, I just bought a ruger 10/22 with the stainless steel barrel and the synthetic stock, I was wanting to attach a biopod to it, is it possible to screw in swivel studs into the synthetic stock, also where on the stock should I place them, this is my first rifle and I don’t want to mess up the stock, if you have pictures of one already done that would help a lot, thanks.

Also does anyone know when the peel handgun club is opening up in Brampton the date keeps getting moved back, all I know is late summer of 08

swivel studs on synthetic

i gave my daughter the same gun for her 12th b-day.for the rear swivel i drilled a hole just undersized and used super glue as i screwed it in and used a vice to press it flush.for the front i drilled far enough back from the band to clear the bipod and used the machine screw swivel with a backing material i think it was delrin inside the stock channel.the front stud is the only one that really takes the weight
