Ruger 10/22 Info

Hey

My friend is looking to find out more information regarding the Ruger 10/22.
How much are they worth used in good condition. How accurate and reliable are those plinkers?

Any info in appreciated.

the 10/22 is a great rifle. Out of my whole collection it is my favourite to shoot. Buy a used one and start "pimping" it up. A very addictive toy

That depends a lot on the type. Used stock, blued 1022's will be the cheapest of the lot, stainless target variant will be more. Peruse the equipment exchange and you'll get a better idea of the price range for used 1022's.

In good mechanical condition, with good mags, 1022's tend to be very reliable....but all .22's tend to favour a particular brand of ammo. You might have some cycling issue until you find the brand yours likes. Ditto for accuracy.

Good luck *finding* a used 10/22 ... nobody wants to part with them!
I haven't found one used for significantly less than the new price for a base blued carbine model.

Very true. Usually for $50 more on top of the asking price of a used 10/22 you can get a brand new one. Not to many used 10/22 barains to be had. Everyone either wants one or wants another one.
