Ruger 10/22 Magazine: Background and the Latest Update

In 1982 a bought a Eaton supply 50 round drum mag for my 10/22. Used it for shooting gophers back in the day. I don't remember what happened to it. In one of my moves it got misplaced. Anyway, it would probably be illegal today. Seeing all the 10/22mag posts got me to reminisce. Some of the best memories I have are from thelate 70s and early 80s going to Saskatchewan and shooting gophers all day long.

This is supposed to be a CSSA thing.
Anything on the CSSA website?
If there isn't there should be.
People who paid money should be getting updates.

Concerns me as well about what I sent for a donation, this silence makes the CSSA look very questionable......

The law reads readily avaiable handgun, anyone know where Chargers are sold and how many are actually in Canada?

That alone should be enough to argue in court?

I don't think the CSSA is crooked in that they would misappropriate your donation.
They are real dunces at communication.
It's the big reason they haven't garnered more support than they have over the years since they expanded from the OHA.

Really hope so, the Rep seemed pretty straight up at the Gunshow and he stated the 1022 mag issue was going to court, but still nothing??

What concerns me the most is they continue to not say anything, why the silence??

I want a stove piping 25 shot wonder mag for my 10/22 too.

We had 3 or 4 over the years.
I'd say 3 of the 4 were pretty reliable (the odd jam or hangup) and one was so horrible with any 22 ammo we tried in it that we chucked it after it performed dismally in my bros 10/22.

I've sent an email today to the CSSA, waiting for a reply.

Creepy forum stalker guy chiming in here, I too emailed CSSA about a week ago and still haven't heard back from them. I'm starting to wonder if my donation would have been better spent on toilet paper.

Has anyone heard anything new pertaining to the 10+ Ruger 10/22 mag reclassification lawsuit?

Byes, you donate 25 peanuts ,and you want a full disclosure???

Give em a break, you'll get your answers in a couple years, like all firearm related stuff.

These things take time, and a whole lotta spending money :)

Just expressing my concern about the RCMP making regulations in firearms related manners. I am a law abiding citizen and this smells like dictatorship more than a diplomacy to me!
How in the world are a police force, in a democratic country, able to change the law? Is this not dangerous?

Is there a petition I can sign?

Sorry if this has been discussed at length, new member since yesterday!

Wish I had a source, just funny how the media reported on 10/22 magazines being present during police raids, next thing the Pony Soldiers made up their idea on the magazines for Ruger rifles. Now some idiot is reported walking around with a SKS and a bayonet on CBC news, so yeah I am just saying what is on my mind.
