Ruger 10/22 or Pietta PPS-50?

Thats good to know! I think I will pick up a bucket or two..I thought they may be too cheap to run well in semi's. All three of my .22's are semi! Even in my AR 7 I havent had any jams or f2f since I ran out of CCI.. you have to do a slight mod behind the mag..& she feeds anything!
 
My 10/22 will shoot anything, but the Remington ammo (golden, and thunderbolt) are dirty and have caused problems before... I run federal automatch, champion, cci (all types) and it loves that. Do yourself a favour and pick up the kidd charging assembly, then you can run subsonic

I'm sure this is a stupid question but what's the advantage of subsonic?

To everyone else ty for all the feedback has made my life much easier :)
 
For me there's no "real" benefit, but paired with a bolt buffer in a 10/22 it's super quiet. Not that .22 is loud, but you don't need any hearing protection to shoot it, just kinda cool, and usually I can find subsonic ammo without issue, compared to the high velocity ammo i use
 
I own a Ruger 10/22 Stainless with Gray Laminated stock. Deadly accurate. Had a Leupold 3 in 3-9X40 scope. Very clear for target practice.
Best darn .22 I have ever owned. With the Leupold Glass it was exceptional shooter.
