Does anyone know where I can find 4 of those top screws or plugs or pins, whatever they are called?

I need 4.

They are called Grub Screws.

they should be available just about anywhere (automotive, etc.)

Check with your local gun shop. If they mount scopes for customers they should have lots around that they will probably just give to you, I know mine does.
