They often start as a $250.00 gun but I wonder how many stay that way. I have a lot of $$$$ invested in both of mine but it has been well worth it considering the pleasure I have gained.

I'm looking to keep this upgrade under $100, so that's why I'm looking at simply dropping in a VQ hammer, and maybe a sear if I can get the parts for the right price. I have to spread my gun-love money around to all of my "children"! Haha! I can see how it could be easy to spend a lot of cash on the 10/22. There is a lot of aftermarket out there for it. My biggest problem right now is finding Volquartsen kits in Canada. Does anyone have any experience with the Power Custom parts? Are they comparable to VQ?

Go to DLASK and get a custom trigger job done. Best $65 i have EVER spent!

I'm not sure if Brownells will ship these to Canada but they used to. I've installed three Clark triggers in 10-22s.

Brownells says they'll ship here for $10.95. I'm not sure if their kit includes the plastic "sleeves" that the kit I found locally does. I'll have to do some more research. I suppose the other concern is if the kit will get intercepted at the border. You know how dangerous a tiny trigger part could be in the wrong hands...
