What a comparison. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! The only thing I don't like about it is the font they chose for the "10/22" on the forend, doesn't really match the rest of the aesthetic.

I'm guessing since they're expecting that most people would shoot it from the right shoulder? Or maybe it's just a cost saving measure.

It's only half ugly.

They only vandalised the right side.

It would have been better to go with a really nice exotic wood, limited only to this model, rather than that mess.

Looks like a nice stock from the left side, I feel like they intended for it to be hung on the wall and only one side was needed for that.
