Ruger 10/22 supplied scope base….junk!

Has anyone else noticed that weaver style base that is supposed to be compatible with the supplied with the Ruger 10/22's do not work as the rings do not seat well on the one piece base and are loose, despite tightening the crap out of them? Frustrating as hell! Anyone else have this issue?

No issue here using weaver brand rings. I have had loose rings on other mounts though and firmed the up with a little black cloth hockey tape. This trick does miracles on stopping scope creep on high power spring air rifles too

Yessir, I replaced my base very soon after.

I never had an issue with tightening the rings but my scope is very small so I needed to get a picatinny base to adjust for proper eye relief.

Ring/base incompatibility. Might be the base, might be the rings.
Use a Weaver base, then you are not limited to 3/8" tip-off rings.

I don't even think I took the supplied rail out of the packaging before I replaced it with an aftermarket rail for my 10/22...

Never had a problem with mine for the 1" dia. 3/8" dovetail rings.

No issues at all.

Yes, I had issue with the base screws. They would loosen (is that even a word?) after a dozen shots and scope would wobble about. I fixed it with blue locktite. Haven't had an issue since.

Three 10/22's and they have all used the included base with no issues.
