Hello all,

As a new to the sport individual (still awaiting completion and delivery of RPal licensing) I am doing my homework.

I have a CZ bolt action eye'd up for my wife and I as our first firearm. I'd like to add a hand gun to the collection as time and dollars permit. But then I'd like to get something a little more customizable.
I'd like to get a rifle (semi-auto) like a Ruger 10/22 and dress it up for longer range target (only) shooting. I'd like to take it up a notch with a sight and bipod maybe.
Problem is the supply is so low right now, and the demand so high, I'm not familiar with the company or the industry as a whole to fear whether the current conditions mean that lower quality Ruger rifles could be created during this time.
Should I be noting this period of possible lower quality Ruger's and is there a serial number or physical part of the gun that could give the production date away for this concern?

thanks

I wouldn't be worried. They aren't pumping them out like crazy and have delayed orders until they can catch up with production.
