We've got them on order already. Currently, if no drastic currency changes, looking at 499.00. Likely, they will have a ten round magazine instead if the 15 though, or a pinned version of the 15.![]()
Why would the mags need to be pinned? Isn't this a rifle with unlimited mag capacity or did they mark the 15 rounders as Charger mags?
Do they have metal sights and barrel bands? That's something that kept me away from the Chiappa version..
Absolutely they do.
Same sight set-up as the 50th anniversary contest winner.
Very similar sight picture to a mini-14 ranch/ ruger scout.
At the end of the day the Chiappa is the most faithful reproduction though.
I've had 2 of them now and they were both decent shooters with gorgeous wood, and keep in mind that USGI parts like sights and barrel bands are very close in spec. and interchange quite easily with the M1-22.
I've been into firearms too long to own one without a decent trigger, and I like the fact that the 10/22 platform has great trigger options. The Chiappa trigger is around 40lbs out of the box with more creep than an episode of The Walking Dead.
