Ruger 10/22 used in combat in Israel.

Lethal does not mean it can crak bones, it mean that a rather unlucky person could die if struck with the bullet at that distance. Needless to say it's rather unlikely but still worth considering it when planing on where to shoot.

I think people under-estimate the tiny .22... It is still a lethal round, especially in an urban setting where you probably aren't shooting much past 200 yards. Also with a silencer on a .22 I can't imagine it being much louder than a gopher fart lol

I know I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that, especially if the rifle is in the hands of a well trained man.

According to another forum, at 1500yards the .22 would have 5ft lbs of energy
Also there was one story about serious injury and another about a death from .22 bullets that were shot a mile away.

Of coure you can snipe with a 10/22.....a shot to the head or heart will kill ANY man.....the only thing is that you gotta shoot it within its limits. Too many people seem to think you can only snipe and kill with a .50BMG.

i know of someone who was shot twice and is still alive.
one in the hand one in the chest

Israel shouldnt be using them as actual weapons.
Not even close to a clean "battlefield kill"
