I was in the run for one of these for quite a while, ended up building one.
It's more fun and get it done your way, find a cheap 10/22, buy a hogue stock, mcgowan barrel, get trigger job done, sell off extra parts and you're golden.
Maybe add power extractor, bolt buffer, dremel auto bolt release and all these things while being in it...

I do have a thread protector with this barrel, put an A2 flash hider for ####s and giggles. My barrel is 13 1/2'' as opposed to 16'' VLEH, i could of gone 16'' but wanted a bit more compact. This punches in within an inch at 50 yds, and i am expecting no more for a rimfire, and what i wish to do with it.
