Ruger 10/22

Hi,
I have a Ruger 10/22 with the wood stock and blued. It has the metal trigger guard. A few minor scuffs. It is from 1988. I was wondering what kind of value it has

If I was 20/20 hindsight wise, I would've custom built a 100% aftermarket rig.
I regret having butchered mine...

It is more desirable than the current used batch (IMHO) so likely retail around $400. A new 10/22 carbine can be bought for $350+ tax. I might buy the new 2026 version to try but no interest in another older 10/22. Good luck.

In 1991 I bought one of those for $175 or so. Shot LOTS of gophers in SK before going to NZ in 1997. Had some gunsmithing done to it in New Zealand (barrel cut off at the front sight, threaded for suppressor). Shot LOTS of rabbits and possums in NZ before I sold it to someone there for $300NZ in 2000. That vintage of 10-22 was pretty good.
At the time I paid $175, forums in the US were complaining that the 10-22 was costing people $100....
All that's just to say you could probably get at least $300 CDN for it.
