Ruger 10/22

At a local gun store I was quoted 415$ for a new Ruger 10/22 wood stock and one 10 rnd drum mag. Is this to much for a 10/22?

Depends if its the birch plain jane model or the sporter model with the checkered walnut stock.

If you called up and said "Hi, I want to buy a Ruger 10/22 how much are they?" and he replied "$415.00" I'd shop elsewhere.

Any dealer who knows his #### would have asked what you were looking for as there are half a dozen+ to choose from.

In fact the best is when they tell you that then give you a price range... I like using P&D's web site for pricing (they seem to be decen't as nothing is ever "whacked out" of the price field.) The stock is also the most current of all the storefront webpages.

it looks like a dark walnut finish. its this years I know that, and it has bright fiberoptic sights. thats all I know about it.

I phoned around last week looking for an extractor and no one in canada had parts in stock..... so I went with hawktech and they shipped to canada for free. just an extractor and some bolt buffers but they arrived in a week in a normal envelope shipped USPS with decleration. no duty to pay because under $30

just go for the real deal and get an STI 10/22, sure its $1300.00 but think of what you are saving on ammo, you will want to shoot it more anyway
