Ruger 10/22s Love 'em? Hate 'em? Tell me.

Cant think of anything bad to say about my SR. If I had to nit pick Id say the price. I got a good deal on mine so price wasnt an issue, new they have quite the tag on them.But once you throw out the cash you dont ever regret it, that goes for me anyway.
 
I've owned a 10/22 deluxe for over 25 years but it does not shoot as well as a bolt action. Semis are fun guns to shoot and the 10/22 is easier to clean than most.

Lots of love for 10/22s in this thread.

I had one with a nice stainless folding stock, bought used in the late nineties. It was 100% functionally reliable, too bad it couldn't hit the side of a barn, from the inside:D Bought a couple of CZ452s and was happy to be hitting what I was aiming at 100 meters away. Sold the 10/22 for cheap. Ten years later, bought two Marlin 60s and they can almost shoot like the CZs.

Moral lesson? Shoulda kept the 10/22 another ten years and then sold it to buy 2 60s.
