It was the OP that had the case blow on him, not I. I've had some problems with Blasers but never a blow out.

FFS i just bought a brick of those suckers and now i dont want to use them. I cant say i had any such issues before and mine is 20 years old. Can you post pics of the case if you could find it.

yes i can, i have both cases from my last two separations. Im at the inlaws right now, but subscribe to the thread and ill get the pics in the next couple of days.

Here is the plunger compared to a nail, I left the point on the one end so the spring would be seated on it, grinded the other end flat. Once this is done just smooth out any sharp edges/burs. Will take you a whopping 10 minutes tops to do.
