ruger 22/45 lite

I have owned the target model and the Lite model and I would say the target is more front heavy and "off balanced" than the lite model. The lite model handles well IMO.

The LITE model feels like a toy. Best one to get is the 4.5" threaded-barrel target model (heavy barrel) with replaceable grips. Being a full inch shorter than the standard target model it is MUCH better balanced with a great feel.

ive had mine for a couple years and ive no complaints about the weight.
its called a 'LITE' for a reason.

my dad picked one up last month from Frontier i believe.
i did see that irungunz has both the grey and the black ones in stock at the same time my dad was shopping.

* i just slipped over to irungunz and they have the grey ones in stock

Maybe target owners have been used to the heavier barrel but more than one of my colleges have preferred the heavier barreled target..

I sold my target model a few months ago and bought the lite. They each had their strong points. My only complaint about the lite is that its harder to hold steady due to the weight. But i knew that when i bought it.
