So I finished my GF's gun today except the LCI eliminator. I couldn't get the pin out, but I will try to get that done at a later date.

Installed the volquartsen sear and hammer along with the high performance tandemkross kit with a victory trigger.

If you've been holding back on doing this stuff to your 22/45 don't!

Order it all right now and get it in. I honesty cannot believe the way the trigger feels now.

Best way I can describe it is the gun doesn't move in your hand even the slightest when you're applying enough finger pressure to fire.

The GF says its like its not even real. She said it feels so light it's like a toy. She also commented that it felt like the gun turned or moved when she pulled the trigger versus more of a squeezing feeling now.

I'm blown away by the difference. It's like a whole new gun.

To get the LCI you need a magnet and a rubber hammer, you need to shock it to dislodge it and then use the magnet. I faught with mine for a hour and caught my thumb between the hammer and barrel.

I got the LCI delete, the mag safety delete bushing, the victory trigger, The kane wolf sling shot mod ( like the auto bolt release for 10/22 ) TI slide racker, VQ comp, extractor, TI firing pin.

Thanks for that heads up Okay. I will try that on LCI.

I did pretty much all of those things you did to yours otherwise :)

Unreal the difference in the trigger hey?

I ordered some bits from TandemKross, did a little work on my 22/45 lite yesterday.

I ordered the LCI delete, steel aher hushing, and Victory trigger.

I like that the magazines drop free now. And the trigger feels awesome. I couldn't install the LCI because on the 22/45 LITE it is really tight and sometimes requires drilling. So maybe a gunsmith can do that for me. Or if I can find an easy way to pull that pin out.

Get a magnet like a strong one but small ( just used a telescopic pen style one ) and a rubber hammer or a block of wood if you don't have a rubber hammer. If using the magnet don't pull out the pin, try shocking the pin out but hitting it just in front. Than try it again with the magnet. It took me 30mins to get mine out ( heat and than some oil ) and shocking it enough that magnet caught it and pulled it out.. I ended up pinching my hand in between the barrel and hammer. So be careful.

when i picked up my 22/45 LITE i had planned on going into it like i do with my Ruger 10/22's, in that i was gonna have fun with it and go all after market on it.
but i found that after i swapped out the sites for some Fiber Optic ones and then put a red dot on it and i got into the gun itself, i did the SamLam ($20) bushing swap out and i really like the gun the way it is.

i was gonna do the LCI delete and replace the trigger and pretty much everything you can do to it..... but its really nice like it is.
i do want to add something onto the back to make it easier to rack but i have heard good and bad things about all the rackers that are on the market, so im gonna hold off until i can fondle one in person.

my dad picked up one of the black ones last year and its still NIB, we are suppose to do some work on it this spring when i see him.
not sure how hard he is going into it with parts and such, guess ill find out when i get there.

i think you have to have played a lot of 007 Golden Eye to fully appreciate the Golden Gun.

Get a tac sol. Its poly with a metal insert, Its light weight. I really like mine, comes off easy, never gave me an issue.
I tried another alum slide racker and it fit like #### and went on a angle once you tightened the set screws.
The TandemKross one just looks like some space blaster.

Looking for a little advice here. Just installed all the Tandemkross stuff except the LCI and the trigger. I am having a TON of failure to extract and quite a few failure to feed. I know the LCI can contribute to this, but WOW is it bad. I even installed the TI extractor, and it seems to have caused MORE extraction problems. Any advice?

Woo! Completed my LCI Delete. Followed instructions laid out in the comments on Tandemkross Youtube (yeah yeah, but it worked!) You Dremel a small indent in the pin, then use a screwdriver wedged into the indent and can push the pin out far enough to grab it with some locking pliers and pull it out. Tape off the frame as to not damage the finish, it takes like 10 minutes and works like a charm. I'm just waiting for loctite to dry and I'm off to the range.

interesting choice on the comp.
for some reason i just cant get behind comps that are different size diameter then the barrel, its a aesthetics thing.
I kinda like it, Way...looks space gunnish. :D

wish I could get an Olympic Arms Whitney Wolverine. pew pew pew!!!

edit - that said, what comp is that? I have that exact Lite. :D

Where did you guys get your trigger parts? I have a new MKIII target and I was thinking of getting the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit, MKII, Silver, Stainless Trigger kit so I could achieve the mag inserted delete. I haven't had any luck finding a Canadian source.

I tried emailing the contact on the Volquartsen site:

Sylvestre Source for Sports
4808-50 Ave, Box 5097
Bonnyville Alberta, Canada
T9N 2G3
780-826-4458 (phone)

However, no response.

Thanks

I got my Tandemkross stuff from Wanstalls, but the company ships to Canada.
