Ruger 22/45 Review and Range Report

I had to use a rubber mallet the first time or two (literally once or twice) to get barrel off frame when the pistol was new.

Never since, and in fact, my two "halves" of the pistol often slip slightly when I am reassembling.

It'll really shine when you take it out further. I had mine out the other day (5 1/2 inch bull barrel "target" 22/45) and was shooting a 12 inch steel plate consistently at 50-70 yards with cheap ammo and factory irons, not resting, one and 2 handed. I can't even do that with my dad's contender :)
