I can't remember which thread I read it on recently but someone posted that the threaded model won't be coming North. I don't know if that has been confirmed in any way.

I'm in the market for 22/45 as well.

That's what I thought re:threaded bbl. I'm just after the 4.5"bbl and replaceable panel option. Couldn't care less about the TB.
Ruger's site only shows two 22/45 models....both threaded

I notice they've removed the slab sidded barrels form the ruger site as well.

What gives?

The regular 22/45RP is under the target models on the site. Model P512MKIIIRP is th eremovable panels version and it seems it is 5.5" barrel only. I would be in for a 4.5 removable panel version too.

If you're asking or suggesting if the uppers and lowers can be swapped...eg. use a 4.5" upper on a RP lower (5.5" P512MKIIIRP) then I would think you can.

I'm Also in the market for another 22/45 or two and the one in the OP's post is very interesting. I'd like to get that one or I have been looking for a stainless hunter in the short barrel as well and can't seem to find either one. My question is why would Ruger restrict the offering on such a popular model?
