Ruger 22/45 slingshot mod improvement

So I did the slingshot mod to my Ruger 22/45 but wasn't happy with the fact that the bolt release lever would lock back the bolt if the gun was inverted. I know, I know, not really a big deal when all you're doing is target shooting or hunting (if you're down in the states that is) but still, it bothered me. So, I fixed it.

I'm guessing the sling-shot mod applies to 22/45's only.

I believe so. I'm pretty sure that the original MkIIIs are set up to "slingshot" from the factory.
