Ruger 25 rnd Mags

Hell, they won't even ship the BX-1 standard 10 round mag to Canada.

I got 2 more from Prophet River to go with the trimag from Brownells.

The Butler Creek BX-25 is reasonably available in Canadian retail stores. These have steel lips which are reputedly more durable than Ruger's own production.
the butler creek mags are not called bx25's they're just butler creek 25 round mags and no the ruger 10 rounders are likely the best there is that will be the same for the bx25 from what i seen but ruger should have known not to mark them for use with the charger for us canadian 10/22 nuts

Im glad I came across this thread. Im in New Hampshire right now and I was going to take a trip to Cableas in Maine tomorrow just to buy a few of BX-25's. i guess I'll just get a few more butler creek ones.

you cant bring mags in without a export permit

Again my point proven ,They veiw it as a Handgun mag as they are subject to the Handgun limit.

No, they view it as a handgun and a rifle magazine, and subject to the more restrictive handgun limit. Different than the LAR-15 magazine which is a pistol magazine, but can be used in rifles. The situations are not the same, and the LAR magazine is not "dual purpose" in the eyes of the law. I believe that this is the point fnrob was trying to make.
