i just traded for a ruger#3 and there is 2 set screws in the trigger, is this adjustable?

Sort of, but not really One is under a spring, so you could increase the pull if you wanted. The other is overtravel. I have seen some with the spring removed altogether and it didnt seem to lighten the pull much.... and its certainly NOT recommended. Some had a 3rd screw for sear engagement, but you need to remove your rear stock to see if yours has it or not.
