I'm looking at buying one of these Bearcat's for my younger son to learn to shoot with but I have never really heard/read any accuracy reports can those of you that have these little guns share your accuracy results?

Thanks

I bought my for my girls about a month ago, and when I took it out to give it "the test", it was really accurate, and the sights were bang on, both windage and elevation. I tried several brands of ammo, and came to the same result with all of them.

As of today my son's stainless steel Bearcat is in the mail bought it from P&D in Edmonton and for me it was not an issue deciding to get the stainless steel model as far as I am concerned s/s is the only way to go...

From what I understand they still have a blued one in stock and it is a little bit cheaper than the s/s one was...

Hi CC,

Yes, still they have at least one of each in stock...I was in there yesterday handling both of them. I prefer the traditional look of the blued one, but the stainless model sure is tempting. :)

Then you must of held the one that is coming to us before they shipped they told me it was the only s/s one in stock do tell what your thoughts of it were... :)

I just read a Gun Blast article by Jeff Quinn he stated that he found that the s/s was a bit more accurate than the blued model he had reviewed in an earlier article averaging 2" @ 25 yards when he did his part.

Or you can look for a S&W model 63 5" barreled 22LR kit gun...

CC

Well, I already have a 2" model 34, so I'm all set for shorties.

I just went down to P&D today and bought one of the blued Bearcats they had in stock...I got to choose from two different ones. :)

I decided on the blued one, just to be different.

Camp Cook - I did handle the stainless one they had there, and it is very nice!!!

Well that sucks I could have driven over there and picked it up instead of having to have it shipped...

Do you remember what they were asking for it?

CC

I didn't ask. It was my first time in there and they have a lot of nice guns!

Handled for the first time a Sig 210,BondArms Snakeslayer,Chiappa Rhino,Bobtailed Nighthawk Commander size

Worth dropping in for sure!

Me too but I am really looking forward to the look on my little guys face when he sees it for the first time.

Now to find him a western style holster...

Just ordered in a non-western holster for my wifes soon to be bearcat from Triple K (got the last Bearcat in stock up here for her birthday in a month :p ).

They also have a western style one for more money. The above one in walnut would look pretty good too.
