Ruger 44 Carbine - question

I have a Ruger 44 Carbine (1963) and I've been looking for a barrel band screw without any luck (Classic Firearms and Numrich are sold out). Anyone know of any other sources for old Ruger parts? Thanks.

I think you could use a 10/22 band screw as they are almost identical. The older ones anyways.

I've been thinking about trying this, but assumed the screw would be a different gauge on the 44. I'll check it out. Thanks.

I've seen them on ebay, both brownells & numrich will ship most parts to Canada
