Ruger .45 P90

No.
Just NO !
Sloppiest gun ever.
Like using a wet slipper to shoot rubber bands !
Now you know.

Had one of the first P90 .45's that ever came into Canada way back when.... Certified "jamma-matic".... traded it off pronto. Won't ever own a Ruger centerfire pistol again.

Love their .22 pistols on the otherhand... ;)

I agree on the Ruger centerfire pistols, Krap!! I owned a P90 .45 way back when also and it was like holding a chunk of aluminum in my hand, no real fit and finish and horrible accuracy. I have to concur that the rimfire and single action revolvers like the Superblackhawk are top notch. I traded mine straight across for a 6" Colt King Cobra revolver.

 I don't know what are you talking about? I own a Ruger centerfire pistol (P89DC) for more than 7 months now. Never had a jam with any kind of ammo, factory or handloaded. And, I can get 1-1 1/4" grouping with it at 15 yards. I have shot their 345 in .45 ACP which found it to be a very descent gun. P90 is the same derivative and how far off it can be. You either all got the lemons or you can't shoot.

Now that's just laughable... I've only been shooting pistols for about 30 years... so I certainly know when one is a POS. And the P90 .45ACP I had was a POS for sure. Yeah, maybe it was a lemon. But since I didn't need/want an econo 9mm I didn't opt for followup by buying a P89 or the ilk, either. Gimme a Colt, Browning or CZ any day of the week.

Too bad Ruger's centerfire semi-autos aren't like their rimfire pistols.... they are mighty fine pieces. ;)

I have the entire line of P series Ruger pistols.

You must have gotten a lemon which Ruger would have replaced or you purchased one post Ole Bill's passing. Rugers manufactured after the founders passing are a sad excuse for the name.

Regularly shoot my P-95 9mm and P-90 in competitions and they eat any ammo you feed them and while the other guys are clearing jams I am scoring points.

The P89's are fine guns, I can't speak for the others. Reliable, accurate enough, and feels surprisingly good in my hands. I only say "surprisingly" becuase the aesthetics lead one to believe otherwise.

Never had a jam, fail to feed, fail to fire, or ANY problems with my P89. It is literally the most reliable firearm I own. YMMV...
I LOVE my Ruger P97. Never a hiccup. I'd trust my life to it.

30 years? So you can shoot. I can agree with you on Colt and BHP but CZ? They are econo 9mm too with flaky quality control. Their performances are hit and miss, some shoot good and some are POS. If don't believe, run a google search on them. I have experienced their lemon too. Now if you want to pay an arm and leg for a Colt or Hi-power, they'd better perform but at the P89 price range and its better than expected performance, I'll go with that value any day. And there are a number of members on this thread that agree. By the way, you are also paying for the Colt and Browning names and their cost of advertisement.:)
