ruger 77/44 (just got back from the range)

lol what are you watching?:D. yes i was going to wait for the 77/357 but i just couldnt wait for profit to get one in for me so i ordered one from elle wood. im glad i did. i was just out shooting in a couple of minuts ago and it was a tonne of fun! shot up some cynder blocks! i was also shooting some cowboy action 44 spls and they are amazing! didnt even need hearing protection! and a 200 yards they take for ever to get to the taget! i also have like a 6 foot hold over:p. you can also hear the round zipping through the air because its a RNFP. i just think this gun is so dang cool!

Ya,.... I know what you think , but it was actually the western "Wyatt Earp" with Kevin Costner.

Glad to see you are having so much fun with your Ruger!
I am a big fan of these "pistol cartridge" rifles in lever action, but since recently purchasing the bolt action, it has been agony which one to use next..... I can't wait to get out again in the weeks ahead to enjoy my Ruger....

Thanks for starting the thread.....

my 77/44 hated heavier than 240 grain bullets! it shot like 6"+ at 100yards!
I just couldnt enjoy that!

The only bullets it liked was bullets 200-210grain bullets.
They would shoot into 1.5".

I have never believed that only accurate rifles are fun,.........but only accurate rifles are truly rewarding!

I hope my 77/357 will be more accurate!

Funny how the same rifle will differ from each other, mine love heavy bullets as it shoot them more accurately than the lighter one, this is 270 gr Speer but it do the almost the same group with 300 grainer... JP.
