Ruger 77 mark 2 all weather ( boat paddle stock “ in 300. Win.

What is the currant value of ruger 77, mark 2, in 300. Win mag.? It’s got the ugly all weather stock with a flip up rear sight . It shoots good the guy wants 750, good deal? Any reasonable comments appreciated

I would pay that. Not more than 8 bills max. Not a super comfortable stock to shoot in a bigger caliber than .308win
Hard recoil pad and narrow wrist/forearm makes them "lively" in the hands with magnum calibers. I like the durability of those stocks for harsh environments though.

The magnums sell for less than the standard and short action calibers... simply because of a supply and demand thing... but $750 is a good price... that rifle in excellent condition would go for approximately $850... standard cartridges (.25/06, .30/06, .270) closer to $950 and the more sought after short action calibers (.243, .308) for $1100... a 7.62X39 paddle stock in excellent condition will go for $1300.
