My old warhorse Ruger go to hunting rifle, stupid accurate, never changes poi, has bagged my largest moose & muley.....
Have never been that fond of the factory trigger, especially after starting to purchase CZ 550/527 rifles with set triggers. So decided the 'Ol Ruger would get some loving this turnaround. Some crazy manufacturing tolerances on these mass produced cookie cutter rifles, had to do some filing on the trigger but tons of trial fitting and proceeded with the utmost caution. No slam fires, safety works perfectley, no bs on bolt closing so all is right with the world!! Locktighted the over travel set screw as there is not alot of change needed from min overtravel to not going "bang". Could be a slight pizz off if it happened on a trophy of a lifetime
It is nice with a 2lb pull, almost zero overtravel on the old mule! Have too see maybe a touch light for winter hunting with gloves. Will hit the range and sort it out....
A nice difference from the old V-II to the V-3L also.......
