Ruger 77 trigger

Have a friend who shoots a Ruger 77 .22 and the trigger is nasty heavy. He wants to make it better without doing a trigger replacement ( read "cheap"). Is there a spring kit/upgrade available? Any advice would be welcome. Thank you.

Yeah... I was in the same boat years ago I just wanted a cheap spring but I still ended up having to pick up this chimney trigger kit it just comes with a sear and spring.

I got a lighter Mcarbo spring from Bullseye. I also shimmed the bolt which did get rid of misfires and seemed to improve accuracy.

You usually need to change the spring and file/mill the sear on a m77 trigger to get it nice.
