Does anyone here own one or had one? Are they accurate or are they like the mini 14 (spray and prey)?

Have one in 22 Mag its a tack driver easily .5" at 50 yds, trigger is not great is the only downfall I see. The only reason I can see that these are not real popular is that the 10/22 has such a huge following.

I had purchased a 96/22 when they first came out and traded it off shortly after purchasing it. I cant recall anything about the accuracy but I do remember the trigger was horrible and the lever was very stiff.

I imagine they improved some things since they first came out, at least I would hope so.

They do have the gun in several different calibers so I would assume its popular and sells well.
