The problem with that peep is that it will more than likely require a taller front sight to go with it. It is also pretty bulky, and it sits pretty high on the reciever. Just doesn't appeal to me.
For me irons should be compact, and rugged, not adding much to the gun, or more gadgets hanging off of it to snag on stuff in the bush, or possibly get knocked around.
I have been looking at these options for my 77/357 and the only real rugged simple option is replacing the rear sight with a Skinner that is made for a Henry Golden boy with the standard dovetail.
The problem with this setup is that it places the peep too far forward for my liking.
All that said, the standard Ruger sights are pretty good, and very usable, obviously with practice. If this is the first open sighted gun for the OP I would just stick with the factory sights, and go practice.
