ruger alaskan

Ruger had this rifle in their 2007 catalogue and I ordered one from a major mail order firm late last spring (no, not WSS). No word on delivery and the retailer advises that the distributor has not even been advised as to when this model may arrive.
A retailer from my area was at the SHOT show in L. Vegas last weekend as posed the question to Ruger reps. and got the stall.
These guys are losing all their credibility.
Any comments??

I just bought mine from E&I sports in Prince George last week. But I got the African.

Just before I bought the african I phoned Wholesale Sports. The person I talked to said there was one Alaskan in stalk. Maybe its still there.

There are all kinds of African models in Canada, but hardly any Alaskans.
