Ruger amercian 17HMR

I got one about a year ago. I love it! Good price I think I paid well south of $500 for mine. Decent fit and finish as well as a reasonably smooth action. They come with 2 buttstock sections for comb adjustment (one high one standard) I also think I saw that you can get them with a wood stock now. They come with iron sights the rear sight is a flip down so you can get it out of the way of your scope the front is a green fiber optic. I have shot mine with both the iron sights and a scope accuracy was not an issue. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases (weaver #12) receiver also has 3/8 dovetail. I prefer the bases. They use the same style rotary mag as the 10/22. It also has a trigger very similar to the savage accutrigger. The gun even came with a cable lock for the action.
My only complaint is that it has been hard to find extra mags. No stock at any of the stores near me and no stock from the manufacture right now. The mags are .22wmr and cover 17hmr.

I have an RAR in 17HMR, one of the 22" bbl version.
Very accurate in my opinion, I found it more accurate that the 22 mag that I had.
Fun to shoot, I had no problem finding an extra mag but ammo is becoming a problem.
I can easily hit water bottles laying down at 100 yards with it.
