Ruger American Cheek Pad

I was just curious if anyone here who purchased a Ruger American recently applied for and received the free cheek pad?

I submitted 3 months ago and I haven't heard or seen anything. I guess it is possible that they are taking their sweet time...especially being an "international" submission.

Bought and applied about a year ago. It did eventually arrive, but long after I had already given up on it. Probably about 6 months.

I got mine maybe 3-4 weeks after putting in for it

I think a lot of times rebates and promotions are handled by a third party, and they count on people either forgetting or not bothering to follow through.
You have to make sure to do everything they specify.
Always call as soon as the waiting period is up to remind them.

I contacted Ruger by phone to ask if a rifle that I purchased, an American as new in box and they could not tell me if has been registered for warranty.
They told me that they do not take care of warrant registrations.
I also applied for the cheek pad when I bought an American in 270 and have not seen anything yet, but it's only been 5 weeks.
I am going to apply for warranty for the as new in box one to see what happens.

When I bought mine in 2012, I filled out the application on line but you still have to call them. I have since installed low talley lightweights and couldn't use the pad any more. It has now found a home on my muzzle loader.

Got mine in about 6 weeks if I remember correctly came in time for my hunting trip so everything worked out for me.

Just received my cheek pad almost 6.5 months later! Ruger is obviously anxious to hand out free cheek pads!

I called and had it within 6 weeks.

I took the Ruger symbol off and sticked it on my 30/30
