I just bought one of these is 6.5 CM for my daughters first hunting rifle. my first gun as a Ruger, and I was on the fence between the Gen 2 or a savage axis 2 Pro. But I went with the Ruger. I havent shot it yet, But holy man, What a great feeling gun. I cant wait for her and I to get out and take some shots with it.
I can not believe how light weight it is. Almost considering buying another one for myself, just because.

Seems like Ruger just can’t produce enough for demand these days wether it’s lever or bolt.

You’d figure they’d eventually catch up but apparently not
