Ruger american predator 223 mag spits ammo

Just go a new RAP in 223. The ammo wont fit the mag. If I top load the mag, the spring will push the ammo right out. Impossible to load 223 ammo in there. Any thoughts?

Im waiting on the store feedback.
 
Yep sounds like Ruger to me... shoulda bought a savage......bahahaha. Kidding....sounds like manufacturing problem. I would call Canadian warranty center for Ruger if they have one?

thanks for the feedback, Cabelas are pretty fast on the issue right now. I will wait for them and see what happens. My mag certainly doesnt look like the ones we can see on youtube for the RAR in 223
 
I bought a ruger American ranch rifle in 223 about a year ago that was shipped to me with a 308 mag. I figured I was doing something wrong, until I tried a 243 case in the mag and it worked perfect. The store where I bought the gun swapped the mag with no problem.
 
if you contact ruger directly, you would have a new that day, same problem with mine, they contacted the shop where I bought it and told them to give a new mag and send the bill to them
