Why the f is this rifle nowhere to be found in Canada? I can find it easily in various other bastard calibers that almost nobody uses but it’s impossible to find in 5.56. What’s the problem?! Also there is plenty of gen 1 for sale everwhere. Why not import the new model?

What are you talking about dude? Next time just say "oops, yeah my mistake" and move on.
Nah. What I was suggesting was stores aren't stocking RR Mk2's because people aren't buying them due to what our pants on head retarded government banned the mini 14.

Then, like some methodist, mojoman wants to inform me that the ranch rifle is bolt action...but he f ucks it up, stating that it has a bolt...all rifles have a bolt, so i took the opportunity to take a piss.

No mistakes...just no humour around here.

What does the Mini-14 being banned have to do with Ruger American Ranch Mk.2 availability?

The truth of the matter is the exact opposite of what you're claiming.

People are buying American Ranch Rifles in droves, largely BECAUSE the Mini-14 is no longer available.

Then why no Mk 2's?

You say people are buying the RR Mk 1 in droves, yet they're also still on the shelves in stores? You can appreciate the dichotomy.

...and I know the mini 14 banning has nothing to do with Mk 2 availability...it's a joke. Rather, a poke at our failed government.

Because distributors purchased the original in large numbers, as I said in a previous post. I posit most shops are waiting to sell out of Mk.1s before bringing in bigger numbers of Mk.2s.

Another element is that the Mk.2 is also extremely popular in the 'States right now and is backordered from Ruger.

And what you were saying about the Mini doesn't even make sense as a joke. It's literally nonsense.

No, this is nonsense.

As always, restomp the groin.

I took the humour in the Mini14 joke....maybe not the slickest delivery...but wuteva

And there is a point in the mini14 reference actually....there has been and still is the speculation that military cartridges should be banned...and all weapons that shoot them...in fact a real thing in some countries ....so not much of a stretch for the current assclown feds.

All this aside.....there are clearly Gen1 Ranches in the pipeline that will obviously get sold off before the Gen2s make it thru....and at cheaper pricing. What is annoying is the significant price jump on the Gen2 rifles.....fluted barrel is cool looking but unnecessary and the new stock isnt much better than the Gen1.....doesnt warrant the price increase IMO. As mentioned the Americans are gobbling up the Gen2 rifles...as usual we will get the dregs if/when they cant sell everything they make domestically....why would they ??

Another vote for x39, the Chi-ammo is still under .50c in spam cans from Tenda and with my G1 can get ca MOA with CH-MS out to 175 at my local range. And as yomamma said you can do better with reloads or factory ammo.

Have you held both? The Gen. 2 feels like it should cost double what the Gen. 1 does.

It's a MUCH higher quality rifle and more than worth the price increase.
