Just another Buget rifle!!! still wont compete with the Vanguard though!

I think it will sit behind the Vanguard (but cheaper) and ahead of some of the other budget guns. The more I look at it...its really no uglier than a lot of the other budget guns. Would likely sell well at around 450 ish.

Has anybody handled one yet ?

Handled one briefly in our sports store, not impressed at all. Cheap copy of the cheap T3 IMHO. The magazines almost interchange.

I love mine... Groups 1/2 inch perfect deer riffle....

Even though the beasty looks a fair bit like a cross between a T3 and an A-Bolt,
testing has shown these rifles have proven accuracy out to 600 yds. at least in
the .308 versions. Only time will tell how well they hold up.
Reloaders and smiths will be already be working on these rifles to see how far they
can get with 'em for sure. Knowing Ruger, I'm pretty sure they've done their
homework on these.

she shoots like a dream in .270 and im sorry no one needs a $1000+ to shoot a deer cause i hate to break it to ya the $448 i.e american rifle will do the trick just fine so what if its a budget rifle thats a market and find another 450 dollar rifle new thats better find another .270 that will make a deer any more dead

If these things shoot like a T-3 and about half the price, Ruger will sell a pile of them. Nothing wrong with walnut and all that but for most hunters it isn't a fashion show.

If there had been one on the local shelf today a friend of mine would prob have picked it up. First ruger that's ever interested me.
