K, I'm in the market for a long gun, and am looking at the;
Ruger- Mini Thirty Rifle, centerfire auto loading. anyone have any opinions.. pros... cons? experiences... and PRICES, would like to know the sponsor dealers rates on here, know what the avg. cost is running on these suckarz.

I'd get a CZ-858 or a similar rifle of that family instead. Mags are easier to find, rifle was meant to shoot the readily available czech surplus and is easy to clean and accessorize. The Mini-thirty rather expensive for what it is and won't give you much more if any accuracy over the CZ-858 since the caliber itself is limiting. If you read rugers manual for the mini it warns against non commercial and surplus ammo.

That's just my 0.02$ though.

I like my stainless Mini-30 and shot two deer with it last fall (one shot each). I paid $350 when I bought mine many moons ago and I agree that they are overpriced for what they are (but so is everything else these days). I've only ever used handloads with 125 or 130 grain .308 bullets in my Mini and the accuracy is acceptable but not outstanding. These rifles aren't as nice to carry in the bush as a lever action but they are relatively small and light. Mine used to throw brass into the next township but I fixed that by installing a variable gas valve.
