Ruger Blackhawk 44 mag designations.

Just a quick question.
Is the early model 44 mag Blackhawk, 1957/58, that I call a flat top, the same gun that is called a three screw?

Yes, pre 1973 Ruger says on their website. Look under "Customer service..." then "Instruction..." . The factory recall into is listed on the same page as the manual
