I have come into possession of a Ruger Blackhawk Airgun with a 4x32 scope etc.
From what I understand these come in two versions, 490fps and 1000fps, I looked over the rifle for something to indicate which it is but I can't see anything, it's got a helluva wallop down range, but I haven't used an airgun in years (RPAL ftw) so it could be normal.
What has me unsure is that my little brother picked it up at a second hand shop where he lives and the guy said it was a "high powered" airgun and he doesn't have a PAL so I am holding it for him until I can determine the FPS, he lives on the border of Maine and it's completely possible that someone picked up the rifle in the US and brought it over.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated, I do not have or know anyone with a chrono.
