I have a 1957 manufacture BlackHawk revolver in .357 Magnum which has gone through the factory overhaul that replaces the old trigger/hammer parts to add a safety feature. When these were done, and most were done this way, the original parts were returned by Ruger with the updated revolver. Soooooo...I think that there are many sets of the original parts sitting in drawers. Is that the case with these? I would like to put it back to original. Dave

I don't blame you. The new model parts don't do the 3 screw models justice. Even when I carried a SBH on my ATC, I didn't mind that the hammer rested on an empty chamber. There is no advantage to the new model lock work, change your old friend back to her original character and keep the new parts in a drawer.

Boomer, I intend to try to do just that. I have posted over on the EE under "Parts and Bits" hoping that someone will have a set who doesn't really give a darn and will sell them to me. Nice revolver all the same. 6 1/2" barrel and built in 1957. Dave
