Ruger Blackhawk S32X Special Model

As per the title, I'm looking for some info on the Ruger Blackhawk Special Model 32-20/32h&r mag. More so, what they would be worth in new, unfired condition. A friend has a matching pair (# 14 and 15 of 5000 from my understanding) with 6 1/2'' Barrels that he is looking to sell.

Were there indeed only 5000 made in 1988 ? Because that is all I could find on the ruger website under S32X Special Model etc etc... so what would they be worth NIB and unfired ?

What they are worth in Canada and what you could get for them in the US probably varies a great deal because of the limited nember of people who can buy prohibited .32s.

I sure wish I was licensed to buy one. The 32 H&R has always interested me.

I'm aware of this... and he knows he can get more for them down south vs up here but would rather sell them up here to eliminate dealing with the export and paperwork. But worst case, he will.

From what I've found online though, matching pairs are going between $1500-$2000 but would low #'s of 14 an 15 fetch any more or on average do they all sell in the same area regardless of serial # ?
